Agenda Item #1:
Chair Carl Swenson called the meeting to order at 8PM.

Agenda Item #2:
Consideration of minutes of 12/1/93 Planning Commission Meeting.
Roskaft Motioned to approve the minutes as printed. Goenner seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Agenda Item #3: Hearing to consider the proposed Wild and Scenic Recreational
Ordinance for the City of Otsego.
Swenson opened the Hearing. Beatty noted that the proper publication,
mailing and posting had been completed.
Swenson explained that we had some last minute information from the DNR
and we need time to look over the suggested changes.
Wallace motioned to continue the Hearing to January 5,1994. Roskaft
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Agenda Item #4: Any other Planning Commission Business.
Chair Swenson stated that at the Park and Rees Commission Meeting last
evening the Commission passed a motion that the Planning Commission should set
a Hearing to get a CUP for development of the park at the New City Hall site. The
property was rezoned to INS (Instutitional). When we built the City Hall, the staff
pointed out that development of the public recreational facilities in the INS Zoning
is by CUP. We don't need a permit for each item, but we need a CUP to permit
starting development of the park. Swenson requested a motion to set a public
hearing on this.
Roskaft motioned to set a Public Hearing for a CUP in a INS Zoned District to allow
Public Recreational Facilities and development of a park at the New City Hall
property on January 5, 1994 at 8PM. Arleen Nagel seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously.

carried unanimously.
