Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM

Minutes from April 14, 2015 — approved- Motioned for approval by Jim second by Mark- All Approved
OPEN FORUM: Ross discussed Safety Camp June 18th, Dana and Jim volunteered to help at Safety Camp.
Ross will have stuff for us to put together after our next meeting if time permits or if anyone can come on June
17th to help put packets together for the Safety Camp. Discussed Otsego night out and Otsego festival however
further discussion is needed on the Commissions participation.
OLD BUSINESS: General discussion of purpose of Public Safety Commission, as requested by Jason
Warehime. Further discussion needed. Jason has requested a meeting with the Public Safety Commission and
the Otsego City Council to discuss what he thinks is a disconnect of communication between the Public Safety
Commission members and the City Council and look at the purpose and goals for this commission. Which is
scheduled for June 9th
• Jason said Facebook is not an option for the Public Safety Commission.
• Mission Statement and Bylaws will be discussed at our next meeting with the City Council.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Workshop meeting with Otsego City Council at our June 9th meeting.
City Council Meeting Report:
• April 27- Nothing to report
• May 11th- Boy Scouts recognized for helping at the Easter Event, Bank of Elk River presented with plaque
for 20 years in Otsego.
City Council Meeting Assignments:

• June 8th- Dana
Next meeting — June 9, 2015- Workshop meeting with Otsego City Council.
