RE: Neighborhood Meeting for the Park located in the Wild Flower Meadow's
Development
Background:
At the June 2015 Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting, Commissioners
unanimously voted on a concept plan for the park that will be located in the Wildflower
Meadows Development. Next, a meeting with the residents of the Wildflower Meadows
Development and surrounding developments was planned for July 21, 2015. Letters
were sent out to residents in the beginning of July informing them of the neighborhood
meeting and directing them to the City's website for the most current concept plan.
Once the neighborhood meeting is concluded, Commissioners will consider any
suggested changes to the concept plan made during the neighborhood meeting and
make a recommendation to SRF Engineering. SRF Engineering will then create a final
concept plan with projected costs estimates for the Parks and Recreation Commission to
review in August and provide a recommendation to the City Council.
Conclusion:
Staff is requesting that the Parks and Recreation Commission review the material and
comments presented during the neighborhood meeting. Once reviewed, recommend
changes, if any, to the concept plan provided by SFR Engineering. SRF will then
present a final concept plan at the August Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
