PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
October 6, 2008
Roll Call: Otsego Planning Commission: Vice Chair Dave
Thompson, Commissioners Richard Nichols, Jim Kolles, and
Alternate Brian Gerten.
Missing: Chair Pam Black, John Thelen, Tammi Fallon and Doug
Hackman.
City Council: Councilmembers Vern Heidner and Mark Thorsted.
City Staff: City Administrator Michael Robertson and City
Planner Dan Licht.
1. Consider the September 15, 2008 Minutes
Commissioner Nichols, seconded by Commissioner Gerten, moved
to approve the minutes as presented. Carried 4-0.
2. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Swimming Pool Regulations
City Planner Licht reviewed the changes to the proposed
amendment requested by the Planning Commission. He also had
spoken with St. Michael and they have not received any
feedback on their ordinance yet because the changes are so
recent.
Commissioner Gerten, seconded by Commissioner Nichols, moved
to recommend approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment
regarding swimming pools. Carried 4-0.
3 Council Update
Councilmember Heidner updated Commissioners on Council
actions and City events.
4. Adjournment
Commissioner Nichols, seconded by Commissioner Kolles, moved
to adjourn at 7:18 p.m. Carried 4-0.
