OTSEGO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

1. Chair Black will call the meeting to order.
Chair Black called the meeting to order at 7 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Pam Black; Commissioners: David Thompson; Tammie Fallon;
Aaron Stritesky; Richard Nichols; Jim Kolles and Brian Gerten.
City Council: CM Vern Heidner. Staff: Tami Loff, City Clerk.
2. Consider the following minutes.
2.1. February 1, 2010 Planning Commission Meeting.
Commissioner Fallon motioned to approve as written. Seconded by
Commissioner Stritesky. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Planning Items:
PUBLIC HEARING:
3.1. Darkenwald:
A. Zoning map amendment rezoning from A-1 to A-2 District.
B. Conditional use permit allowing lot area less than 20 acres
and indirect access to a public street.
C. Preliminary / final plat.
CM Heidner announced that Dan Licht is no longer an associate of NAC and is
here as a private citizen not contracted or employed by the City.
Dan Licht reviewed the Darkenwald application.
The Applicant had no comments.
Chair Black opened the Public Hearing at 7:08 PM.
City Clerk Tami Loff attested that proper noticing, posting and publishing was
completed.
Hearing no public comments Chair Black closed the Public Hearing at 7:10 PM.
Commissioner Thompson motioned to approve a Zoning Map
amendment rezoning the subject site from a-1 District to A-2 District
based on a finding that the request is consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan. Seconded by Commissioner Nichols. All in favor.
Motion carried.
Commissioner Fallon motioned to approve a conditional use permit
subject to the nine conditions listed in the report. Seconded by
Commissioner Nichols. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Any other Planning Commission Business.
4.1. Update on City Council actions by Councilmember Heidner.
CM Heidner updated the Commission.
4.2. Update on future Planning Commission Agenda Items by
Ta m i Loff.
City Clerk Loff stated there are no future Planning Commission items at this time.
5. Adjournment by 10 PM.
Commissioner Fallon motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner
Stritesky. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 7:17 PM.
