RESOLUTION NO. 2001-29
RESOLUTION ORDERING HEARING ON IWROVEMENT-
EXTENSION OF 85" STREET
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted August 13,
2001 a report has been prepared by the City Engineer, Hakanson Anderson &
Associates, with reference to the improvement of 85`h Street Extension with
Sanitary Sewer, Water Mains and Storm Drainage. This report was received by the
City Council on September 24, 2001.
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed
project is necessary, cost effective and feasible.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF OTSEGO, WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with
the report and the assessment of benefited abutting and non -abutting property for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $ 348,784.00, subject
to possible revision of the estimate upward to cover additional land acquisition
costs.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22 day of
October, 2001 in the Council Chambers of the Otsego City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and
the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement, as required by law.
ADOPTED BY THE OTSEGO CITY COUNCIL this 2 4 thday of September,
2001.
