CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING LARRY KOSHAK'S TENURE AS
CITY ENGINEER OF OTSEGO
WHEREAS, Larry Koshak has announced his retirement as City
Engineer of Otsego, effective October 22, 2001, and;
WHEREAS, Larry Koshak has served the City of Otsego as City
Engineer since its incorporation in 1990, and before that as
Township Engineer when it was Otsego Township, and;
WHEREAS, Larry Koshak has diligently and strenuously
defended the interests of the City of Otsego in engineering
matters, as evidenced by some of the complaints the City
Council has received from developers over the years, and;
WHEREAS, Larry Koshak has been a source of help and support
to Otsego staff, as well as a consumer of their baked goods,
and;
WHEREAS, Larry Koshak has demonstrated his ability to
explain obscure engineering details to all listeners, both
willing and unwilling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That since the absence of Larry Koshak as City Engineer
will both diminish the City of Otsego and make the City
Council meetings at least an hour shorter, the City Council
of Otsego hereby thanks Larry for his work as City Engineer,
and wishes him a long and enjoyable retirement.
