Staff recommends the hiring of Justin Samuelson for the vacant Maintenance II position.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Staff has completed the application and interview process for the vacant Street Department
Maintenance II position.
Justin Samuelson was the most qualified applicant for the Maintenance II position. He has successfully
passed the required background and drug testing. The Maintenance II position is a pay grade 9 and we
are recommending that he be placed at a step 3 upon hire.
He would be available to work two weeks after Council has made their decision.
