RESOLUTION NO. 2012- 12
RESOLUTION APPOINTING MNDOT AS AGENT FOR THE CITY OF
OTSEGO FOR ACCEPTANCE OF TRANSPORTATION RELATED
FEDERAL AID FUNDS
WHEREAS, MNDOT has transmitted a contract to the City appointing MNDOT
as agent for the City for purposes of receiving available federal aid funds for
transportation related projects; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement presented supersedes the previous Agreement
between the City of Otsego and MNDOT in or about 2003.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Otsego, Wright County, Minnesota as follows:
That pursuant to Minnesota Statute Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of
Transportation is hereby appointed as Agent of the City of Otsego to accept
as its agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible
transportation related projects.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed for and
on behalf of the City to execute and enter into an agreement with the
Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of
said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in "Minnesota
Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 99957, a copy of
which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part
hereof by reference.
MOTION to Adopt the Resolution was made this 13th day of February, 2012 by
Council Member HEIDNER and seconded by Council Member
SCHARBER
