PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING
SEPTEMBER 17, 2001

1. Chair Swenson will call the meeting_to order.
Chair Swenson called the meeting to order at 8 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Carl Swenson; Commission Members: Ken Fry, Steve Schuck,
Richard Nichols, Alternate David Thompson.
Excused absence: Patrick Moonen, Jim Kolles. Absent: Christian Mbanefo.
Staff: Judy Hudson, City Clerk/Zoning Administrator and Dan Licht, City Planner.
Council Representative: Vern Heidner. Other Council members attending were Mayor
Larry Fournier and Jerry Struthers.
2. Consider the following minutes:
A. August 20, 2001.
Commissioner Schuck motioned to approve the minutes. Seconded by
Commissioner Nichols. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Plannin Its
A. Public Hearing for Amendment to Zoning Ordinance regarding
Detached accessory building area within the rural service area.
Dan Licht presented the Planning Report.
Judy Hudson attested the proper publishing was done.
Chair Swenson opened the Public Hearing at 8:06 PM.
There was no Public Comment.
Chair Swenson closed the Public Hearing at 8:07 PM.
Commissioner Nichols motioned to approve the amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance amending the residential accessory structure provisions for detached
accessory structures within the Rural Service Area. Seconded by Commissioner
Schuck. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Any other Planning Commission Business.
A. Update on Council Actions by CM Heidner.
Councilmember Heidner informed the Planning Commission the Council approved the
Final Plat of Hidden Creek Trails.

5. Adjournment by 10 PM.
Commissioner Schuck motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner
Thompson. All in favor. Motion carried.
