RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Street Improvement of
Page Avenue from 79th Street to 85th Street, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
Hardrives, Inc. $411,103.61
Buffalo Bituminous $418,918.00
Midwest Asphalt $419,524.32
North Valley, Inc. $426,290.36
W.B. Miller, Inc. $444,325.46
Bauerly Brothers $452,096.86
DMJ Corporation $453,695.75
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of the City of Otsego for
Street Improvement of Page Avenue from 791h Street to 85th Street, according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the bid bonds made with their bids, except that the bid bond of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
