PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING

1. Chair Swenson will call the meeting to order.
Chair Swenson called the meeting to order at 8:09 PM.
Roll Call: Carl Swenson, David Thompson, Steve Schuck, and Christian
Mbanefo.
Excused absence: Ken Fry, Patrick ivloonen, Richard Nichols, and Jim Kolles.
Staff. Mike Robertson, City Administrator; Judy Hudson, City Clerk/Zoning
Administrator and Dan Licht, City Planner.
City Council: Vern Heidner, Jerry Struthers, Virginia Wendel, Suzanne Ackerman and
Mayor Larry Fournier.
2 Consider the following minutes:
A. December 3 2001
Commissioner Schuck motioned to approve the minutes as written. Seconded by
Commissioner Thompson. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Planning Items:
A. Public Hearing for applicant Douglas E Cummings Request is as
follows:
1. Zoning Map Amendment rezoning from A-1 District to 1-2
District for a 15 -acre parcel.
2. Preliminary Plat for Otsego Industrial Park 5`h Addition
Chair Swenson opened the Public Hearing at 8:10 PM.
Judy Hudson attested the proper publishing and noticing was done.
Dan Licht presented the Planner's Report.
The applicant, Douglas Cummings, did not comment at this time.
Chair Swenson opened Hearing for public comment at 8:20 PM.
There was no public comment.
Chair Swenson opened for Planning Commission discussion.
Commission Schuck asked if the applicant has any issues with the conditions listed in the
Planning Report.
Lary Mempsky, Attorney for Mr. Cummings, asked for clarification on the street
construction that if the City determines a need for this street they could construct unless
the applicant does. Dan Licht replied that is correct.
Commissioner Schuck asked if the retention pond on Lot 4 will make this lot not
buildable.
Mr. Licht replied this is a concept plan and the lot line can be adjusted.
There was no other public comment.
Chair Swenson closed the Public Hearing at 8:24 PM.
