There was a list of nine possible items, of which the City Council authorized four to be done. 1) Extend Ballfield Fences to End of Infield - This work is incomplete. The work appears to be complete (tough to tell where the end of the infield is under two inches of snow) on two of the ballfields. It has not been started on the other two. 2) Move Player Benches Closer to Backsto-o and Enclose - This work is also incomplete. It has been completed on the same two fields as Item #1 and not started on the other two. I agree with Peter's comment that more room and screening is needed for the player benches. That is included in the list of future improvements to Prairie Park. 3) Install Two Benches Along Path - This work has been completed. 4) Install 10 Foot High Fence along Short Field - This work has not been started. I have called the contractor and asked him to provide a timeframe for when they will be finished this spring.
