MEETING MINUTES
December 14, 2005 - 7:00 PM
Call to order. The meeting was called to order at 7:05
p.m.
Roll Call:
Park & Recreation Commission: Chair Aaron Stritesky,
Virginia Duran, Russ Langer, Kathy Roberts, Rose Cassady,
Peter Torresani, Mike Brumm
Staff: Council Member Jessica Stockamp, Planner Dan Licht.
Attendees: Ken Grieshaber (SRF Park Designer)
Agenda Approval - Commissioner Torresani, seconded by
Commissioner Brumm, moved to approve the agenda. Carried
7-0.
Approval of November, 2004 Minutes - Commissioner Brumm,
seconded by Commissioner Duran, moved to approve the
November, 2004 minutes as amended. Carried 7-0.
Future Park Plan Presentation - Ken Grieshaber from SRF
presented the first draft of the park plans for the three
new parks scheduled for construction in 2006. Based on
slower development around the Kittredge park area,
consensus was to postpone this park. The other two park
plans were discussed with a few recommended changes.
City Update - There was no city update available.
Commissioner Langer questioned the status of the ice -rink
issue from the November meeting. Council member Stockamp
said she would make sure it was addressed quickly due to
the seasonal time requirements.
Santa Day - Details of the Santa Day were discussed. Setup
on Friday Dec. 16 at 6:30.
Adjournment - Commissioner Langer, seconded by Commissioner
Torresani, moved to adjourn at 8:55 p.m. Carried 7-0.
