Sue Kroll- secretary Teri Kolher Darlene Solberg Roche Martin Bill Olson -absent Tom Baillargeon-absent 1. Call Meeting To Order Jeff Bartheld called meeting to order at 7:03 2. Roll Call. 3. Otsego Family Fun Day & Exhibitors We have sent out 115 invitations for exhibitors. Jeff Bartheld stated, Andy MacArthur told him we need all exhibitors to sign a waiver stating the city is not liable for any accidents B. Crafters Michelle Bergh is going to solicit the crafters. Jeff Bartheld suggested she talk with Pam Black, Darlene Solberg will also have an ad put inthe paper. Crafters will be set up in the shade of the trees. C. Car Show Jeff Bartheld has talked with the Ellingson car museum and they will give us a list of all the car clubs in the state. Tom Constant is talking to some other people with cars. D. Dance Time for the dance is set for 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. Darlene will contact Nadine Ardvig about getting the reserves to help out during the dance. We need to figure out a way to secure the area for the dance. We're thinking of stamping the hand of people that have paid, to ensure re-entry should some need to leave and want to conte back Snow fence would make a good barrier and could be used for other things as well. On the Flyer we need to tell people to bring lawn chairs or blankets. We can also use picnic tables from the park. Tom Constant and Jeff Bartheld have also offered to bring tables from home. Food Venders Denny and Shirley Sorenson will be our food vendors again this year. They will be selling hotdogs, sloppy joes ,chips and pop. FFA will besetting up a candy stand. Jeff Bartheld suggested we involve the Lions to help with other food stands, such as watermelon or rootbeer floats. Popcorn is another idea. Suzanne Ackerman has a contact with an old-fashioned rootbeer manufacturer. F. Advertising Mark Berning gave Jeff Bartheld a letter from the Pork Producers in conjunction with Radio Station KRWC. They will come to an event and play music and games and help promote that celebration. Darlene Solberg will have an ad put in the paper this week for crafters and exhibitors. Sue Kroll stated that the 4x4 wood sign, two colors one side would cost $120.00 and that a plastic sign, the same would be $88,00. Sandwich board signs 2x4 2 colors in wood are $130.00 each. The commission felt these were to expensive and has asked Sue to check into the cost of a banner instead. G. Challenge to City Council for special volleyball game Game to be held at 5:30 P.M. 4.
