SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
PRAIRIE CENTER

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 8:42 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder and Jason
Warehime. Absent: Councilmember Tom Darkenwald. Staff: Lori Johnson, City Administrator;
Adam Flaherty, Finance Director; Kurt Neidermeier, Utility Manager and Tami Loff, City Clerk.
Also present: Don Mass, Mary Olson and Sandy Lindenfelser.
1. Classification and Compensation Study.
Ann Antonsen, Springsted Inc., presented the preliminary findings of the Classification and
Compensation Study. Hard copies of the study were provided at the meeting. Ms. Antonsen said
the next step will be to finalize and then review implementation options.
City Administrator Johnson said an employee meeting to review the results has tentatively been
set for Wednesday, December 16 at 12 pm. The City Council concurred that lunch will be
provided for the employees.
Mayor Stockamp motioned to set a special meeting on January 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM
at Prairie Center for discussion on the Classification and Compensation Study.
Seconded by CM Schroeder. All in favor. Motion carried.
2. Adjourn.
CM Warehime motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Schroeder. All in favor. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 9:45 PM.
