The attached memo explains the process and schedule. Planning Commissioner Mord, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Stark and Public Safety Commissioner Hubbard were all recently appointed in one year appointments that expire on February 28, 2016; you may want to consider just reappointing them rather than re -interviewing them. City staff is looking for a motion to set a date(s) for interviewing applicants before the February 22 City Council meeting. This memorandum is provided to existing Advisory Commissioners with expiring terms and Alternate Commissioners who may be interested in being considered for appointment as a Commissioner to outline the application process. ANALYSIS Open Seats. The table below summarizes the openings on each of the four advisory commissions that will expire on February 28, 2016 due to expiring terms and/or vacant positions.
