Ken and I reviewed the submittals and ranked them based on overall play value. It's our view that Little Tikes offers the most, but could be improved a bit with exchanging 1 or 2 of the plastic climbers for a net climber or other event. Big Toys and Gametime seem fairly close in terms of play value. Minor differences include and extra roof (Big Toys) and an extra slide (Gametime). A reduced quantity of poured -in- place rubber is included in Gametime's number, but Big Toys total quote is $3,600 less than Gametime, so that is a wash. Purchaser shall be responsible for unknown conditions such as buried utilities, tree stumps, bedrock or any concealed materials or conditions that may result in additional labor or material costs. Submittals: our design proposal reflects the spirit and intent of the project plans and specifications. While some variations may exist between our quotation and the project design, the differences do not materially affect the intended use. GameTime designs and specifications are unique and not intended to be identical in all respects to other manufacturers. We shall submit for review and approval by the owner's representative detailed drawings depicting the equipment to be fumished accompanied by specifications describing materials.
