REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING

7:30 PM REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FOLLOWS:
1. TOM BAILLARGEON WILL CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Tom Baillargeon called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
2. REVIEW OF THE MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 13TH MEETING:
Minutes passed with the following changes -
Subdivision 21-7-18 Section I:
Residential - 10% of the land in lieu of cash or $700 or 10%....
and - a r4g�presentative. not engineer will be here Aug. 19th.
Darlene moved to accept. Jeff seconded.
3. OPEN FORUM:
Nothing
4. CITY COUNCIL - Special Meeting
Goals - Continue with original adapted plan. No update needed.
Communication - Larry will keep lines open as new representative.
Meetings will be taped.
Submit to Elaine a one page letter of intent for
council meetings.
Money - Phyliss will go over budget
Park Maintenance - City Maintenance crew will carry out with city
funds.
Bill moved to adjourn special meeting. Debbie seconded.
PHYLISS EXPLAINED PARK AND REC BUDGET:
Two parts: Park Development and Programs and Maintenance
S. RECREATION COORDINATOR
Jeff explained budget (attached). Added T -Ball.
MERLIN EXPLAINED CAPITAL BUDGET:
1996 ISTEA Grant $246,000
City's Share - $61,525
Engineering cost - $49,000
Land Acquisition - $23,500
TOTAL $134,025
We are included in 1998 ISTEA Grant Runnings
6. DEDICATION FEES:
After much discussion, Darlene moved to continue dedication fee
issue after Merlin meets with Andy MacArthur.
7. SIGN:
Tom B. gave Debbie statement that needs to be added to our sign.
S. BUDGET:
A special meeting will be held at 7:30 pm on August 15th.
9. OTSEGO PRAIRIE PARK:
At least 15 Volunteers are needed to assemble playground equipment
on Aug. 19th. An ad will be put in the paper requesting volunteers.
10. PAY BILLS:
No bills.
11. OTHER ITEMS OF CONCERN:
Larry brought to our attention the Commission request for a Park
Vision Plan.
