Parks and Recreation Commission
Minutes for the meeting of Wednesday, August 12, 1998
At 7:00 p.m. the meeting was called to order by Chair Bartheld.
Chair Bartheld and Commissioners Kroll, Constant, Martin, Berning and Day were in attendance.
Commissioner Tom B. was excused. 1" alternate absent, 2nd alternate absent.
Approval of July 8 meeting minutes was deferred.

Charley Rodby volunteered to take the Friends of the Park initiative under his direction.

Haunted House work days selected: Mon. Aug 31 @ 6:30, Wed. Sept. 2 @ 6:30 set up day Mon. Sept. 14
@ 6:30.
Community Rec. provided a copy of proposed budget for 1999. The Commission agreed to discontinue the
Family Fun Day and instead reserve monies for possible entertainment (i.e. a dance).
Haunted House prices were decided: $3.00 general admission, $1.00 with hayride.
