Bartheld, VChr. Constant, C Day, C Baillargeon, C Kroll, C Martin B. CM Berning, Jeff Asfahl, 3. Minutes of December 9 meeting approval. Motion to accept with changes C Baillargeon, 2nd C Day, all in favor, motion carries. 4. Open Forum — none 5. Election of Officers and Committee Appointments A. Chairman — motion for Jeff Bartheld to continue by Tom Constant, 2nd C Kroll, all in favor, motion carries. B. Vice Chairman — motion for Tom Constant to continue by Tom Baillargeon, 2nd by C Day, all in favor, motion carries. C. Secretary — Tom Baillargeon volunteers. Motion to make Tom Baillargeon Secretary by Chr. Bartheld, 2nd C Martin, all in favor, motion carries. D. Budget Advisor — Chr. Bartheld nominated C Martin, 2nd VChr. Constant, all in favor, motion carries. E. Budget sub committee — Sue Kroll, Mike Day, Nicole Martin F. Building Committee — Tom Constant, Tom Baillargeon, Tony Faust, Jeff Bartheld G. Charley Rodby, Eagle Scout Candidate A. Not available 7. Mike Robertson, City Administrator A. Not present, see memo submitted 8. Budget Sub Committee A. No report 9. Mark Berning, City Council Representative A. Expects to continue as our council representative B. Tom B. made motion to request to the mayor that we keep Mark B as our rep. 2nd by C Day, all in favor, motion carries. 10. Community Recreation and the Recreation Sub Committee A. $500 budget for advertising approved so Jeff A. can coordinate flyer for schools with the ad B. Need check for $250 Wild Wood Farms ready day of event for sleigh ride 12:30-2:30. C. Ice carving vendor for $150, need PO made out to John Franks, motion from C Martin, 2nd by C Baillargeon to go with the ice carver, all in favor, motion carries. 11:30-12 D. Skating Director will be hereon site, will be $20-25hr. Salary will be paid out of our grant monies. Afternoon time hopefully. E. Need a PO for plexi -glass sign holders F. Night stay at Riverwood will be door prize G. Looking for two volunteers to citizen involvement group, meeting to take place on 1-19. Encompasses all area (Dayton, Zimmerman, Elk River, Otsego). Site Plan — First priority, present to Planning and Zoning, want to present 2 or 3 recommendations to council first. Tom B offered to mock up the proposals B. Building Permit Application — continued to next meeting C. Collection Bids for Project — continued to next meeting 12. Park & Recreation Events A. Finalize Winter-fest events - Sleighrides, ice carving, sledding, skating with lessons, food, door prize, games (frisbee, tree races, etc), snow mobile club, groomer on display, bonfire. B. Update collection of prizes — need PO for awards frames (See Jane). Janes Family Daycare, Bartheld & Sons $10, Tepstra, etc... $50, Duerr's $40, Bank of Elk, Otsego $150, Marquette $100, F&F Food Mart $20, AmVet $25, to date. C. Other — PO For grocery store and Star News. Door Prizes given out at 3:30. 13. Other items of concern A. New Applicant.
