REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING

7:45 PM REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FOLLOWS:
1. TOM BAILLARGEON WILL CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Tom Baillargeon called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
2. REVIEW OF THE MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 13TH MEETING:
Minutes passed with the following changes - Date of meeting should
read June 13th and review of minutes should be from May 9th meeting.
Darlene made the motion Tom C seconded.
3. OPEN FORUM:
No guests
4. SPECIAL MEETING WITH CITY COUNCIL:
Postponed until August meeting.
S. REPORT FROM CITY COUNCIL:
Trail dedication fees should be as follows -
Subdivision 21-7-18 Section I:
Residential - 100 of the land in lieu of cash or 10% of the fair
market value at the City's discretion.
Commercial/Industrial - 10% of land in lieu of cash or 10% of
of fair market value for land area at the City's discretion.
Roche moved to accept, Debbie seconded.
Subdivision 21-7-18 Section K:
1/2 percent of gross area being sub -divided for residential
use in lieu of cash or 1/2 percent of fair market value land at
the City's discretion.
Tom C moved to accept, Jeff seconded.
6. RECREATION COORDINATOR/PLANNING SUB -COMMITTEE
Jeff A. reported Safety Camp and Model Rocket class canceled due to
lack of registration.
Day in the Park with Wright County at Otsego Park scheduled for Aug.
5th.
Darlene motioned and Roche seconded to schedule the fall hayride for
Oct. 28 as coordinated through Community Rec.
The Roving Parks Program will begin in Aug with 15 pick-up stops in
Otsego.
Tom C motioned to cancel Aug 13th picnic because of lack of
construction of the park. Darlene seconded.
7. MERLIN OTTO:
Playground equipment will be delivered between Aug. 4th and 11th.
Darlene volunteered to be at park to inventory merchandise. An
engineer will be here to help volunteers set up equipment on Aug.
19th. We need at least 15 people.
Southside Lumber wants to know when we can take timbers. We should
be able to take delivery at any time and store timbers in shed.
Grading contract was awarded to Dennis Fehn Gravel to be complete by
9-1-95 and beginning the week of 7-17-95. Ball fields need to be
staked. Brush pile must be moved. Tom C and Jeff are going to try
to cut weeds in the park.
B. FALL EVENTS:
Hay ride
9. 1996 Budget
Darlene is meeting with Phyllis to discuss Park and Rec's operating
budget. We will receive a report at our Aug meeting.
10. PAY BILLS:
No Bills.
11. OTHER ITEMS OF CONCERN:
Darlene will call Jackie R. with news.
