MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 101 2003 - 7:00 PM
1. Call to order. Chair Bartheld called the meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call:
Park & Recreation Commission: Chair Jeff Bartheld, Terry
Long, Pauline Nelson, Peter Torresani, and Rose Cassady.
Jessica Stockamp arrived at 7:05 p.m. Mark Thorsted arrived
at 7:09 p.m. Absent: Jim Gaikowski.
Councilmembers: CM Scharber.
Staff: City Administrator Mike Robertson
Approval of August 13 2003 Minutes - Commissioner
Torresani, seconded by Commissioner Cassady, moved to
approve the August 13, 2003 minutes. Carried 6-0.
City Newsletter - Commissioner Nelson volunteered to be the
communications liaison with Jackie Rognli to get more
information on the Park & Recreation Commission into the
newsletter.
City Update - CM Scharber updated Commissioners on Council
actions.
Festival - Commissioner Cassady updated everyone on the
Otsego Festival plans.
Haunted House - Chair Bartheld discussed the work that had
been completed so far. He noted the Albertville Lioness
would like to run a room. Commissioner Stockamp asked
Robertson to send her a copy of last year's volunteer list.
Adjournment - Commissioner Cassady, seconded by Commissioner
Long, moved to adjourn at 9:00 p.m. Carried 5-0.
