RESOLUTION NO. 2003-71
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON
IMPROVEMENTS - TRUNK WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT BETWEEN
CSAR #19 AND MACIVER AVENUE AND STEET IMPROVEMENTS ON 70TH
STREET BETWEEEN CSAH #19 AND MCALLISTER AVENUE AND ON
MACIVER AVENUE BETWEEN 80TH STREET AND 601H STREET
WHEREAS, a request has been made by Developers for the City to construct water main
improvements between CSAR #19 and Maciver Ave and street improvements on 70'h
Street between CSAH #19 and M°Allister Avenue and on Maciver Avenue between 80th
Street and 60the Street; and
WHEREAS, the benefited properties would either pay for their portion of the cost of the
improvement by Agreement, or would be assessed for their portion of the cost of the
improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OTSEGO CITY COUNCIL,
WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA as follows:
That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineers, Hakanson, Anderson
& Associates, Inc. for study and they are instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
