RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY STUDY, AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF 87T" STREET NE AND O'BRIAN AVENUE NE.
WHEREAS, the City Council ordered the preparation of a feasibility study
for the improvement on the 14th day of July, 2003; and
WHEREAS, such feasibility study was prepared by Hakanson Anderson
Associates, Inc. and presented to the Council on the 11`h day of August, 2003 and
declares the improvement feasible, for an estimated cost of $150,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 11" day of August,
2003, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed improvement of 87`h
Street NE from Odean Avenue NE to O'Brian Avenue NE and O'Brian Avenue NE
from 851h Street NE to the north plat line of Vasseurs Oak Grove Estates,
AND WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of
the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 8`h of September,
2003, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be
heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF Otsego, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost—effective, and feasible as detailed in the
feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution
adopted 8th day of September , 2003. The proceedings for this
improvement were commenced pursuant to a petition of affected property
owners.
3. Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for
this improvement. The engineer shall prepare the plans and specifications for
the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the council this 8`h day of September, 2003.
