RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend amending section II. 2. a. of the previously approved Joint Powers Agreement Between the
City of Otsego and the City of Rogers Regarding TH 101/CSAH 144 Interchange Improvement Project
(Agreement) to change the date from 2013 to 2014.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
On October 22 the City Council approved entering into a joint powers agreement with City of Rogers for
the TH101/CSAH 144 project. During discussion at the Council meeting, the date of the first payment
was changed from 2014 to 2013 in the Agreement based on the proposed schedule provided by the City
of Rogers. The City of Rogers has since requested that the date be changed back to 2014 as that is when
construction will begin. That is the only amendment requested to the Agreement.

Half ($50,000) paid at issuance of the Notice to Proceed to the contractor, estimated in early 2014.
