ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: Metro Homes Insulation has an approved application to expand buildings within their property located at 5861 Queens Avenue. As part of the application, staff requested 50' of ROW for future reconstruction of Queens Avenue. Currently the ROW is 33'. The applicant has agreed to the 50' of ROW dedication with one stipulation, that when Queens Avenue is ever reconstructed, the trunk storm water path be redirected from passing under Metro Homes Insulations parking lot and the drainage and utility easement within Metro Homes Insulation lot be vacated. The trunk storm water would be redirected within street ROW. This request is applicable and would have been part of the design of any reconstruction of Queens Avenue. Therefor we recommend agreeing to the request. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: X ATTACHED NONE • Exhibit of Area MOTION: (Please word motion as you would like it to appear in the minutes.)
