OTSEGO PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION MINUTES
MAY 10, 2016

1. Meeting called to order at 6:30pm
2. Roll call: Mark Driste, Jim Breitbach, Greg Hubbard, Charles Schauss, Tina Driste. Also present
Albertville fire, Elk river Fire, Rogers Fire, and Wright County. Absent Paul Fields, Mark Lucht.
3. Meeting agenda approved
Charles Schauss made a motion to approve. Seconded by Jim Breitbach. All in favor. Motion
carried.
4. April meeting minutes approved
Charles Schauss made a motion to approve. Seconded by Jim Breitbach. All in favor. Motion
carried.
S. Open Forum
No Items.
6. Wright County
Jam fest is August 12tn
7. Rogers Fire
No Items.
8. Elk River Fire
The fire academy is almost done, and the graduation is June 22"d
FAO class is starting July 11tn
Let them know if there are any houses in Otsego they and other fire departments in the area
can use for training.
9. Albertville Fire
When there are things on facebook about call try and get the facts posted so there are no
rumors.
Albertville Fire will be getting a new suburban that will be used for medical calls.
10. Elections
Chair-, Jim made motion for Charles to be Chair. Mark D. seconded. Motion Carried.
Vice Chair- Charles nominated Mark D. Jim seconded. Motion Carried
Secretary- Charles nominated Tina. Jim seconded. Motion carried.
11. Old business
The next step in starting a CERT program is a work session with city council if we would like to
move forward.
