Recommend calling 2017 budget work sessions as outlined in the 2017 budget calendar.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
At the April 25, 2016, Council meeting, the 2017 budget calendar was reviewed and approved.
However, calling the special meetings was delayed in case the schedule needed to be adjusted to
accommodate other meetings. No adjustments are recommended; therefore, the budget meetings will
be called as proposed.

Motion to call special City Council meetings as budget work sessions on August 8 following the regular
Council meeting, August 22 following the regular Council meeting, August 29 at 6:00 p.m., and
September 12 following the regular meeting, all at Prairie Center.
