BACKGROUNDMUSTIFICATION:
The Pour Wine and Bistro is requesting approval of a brew pub at their business located at 15704 901h
Street. The brew pub license is a state license; in order to qualify for the brew pub license with the
state; the licensee must first obtain, or simultaneously obtain, either the full on -sale intoxicating liquor
license or a 3.2 malt beverage license and wine license with the strong beer authorization. Pour Wine
and Bistro currently holds a full on -sale and Sunday intoxicating liquor license. The property is zoned
PUD District, with uses as allowed within the B-3, General Business District. The City Council approved a
Zoning Ordinance amendment on November 9, 2015 making brew pubs a permitted use within the B-3
District. No further zoning approvals are required to add the brew pub use to the existing business. The
application fee for an amended liquor license has been received, the application has been reviewed by
the City Clerk and City Planner, and the request is compliant with the requirements of Section 07-03-
08.11 of the City Code,
