CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS of THE HERITAGE
PRESERVATION COMMISSION AND MAKING APPOINTMENTS.
WHEREAS, AS, the City of Otsego has established a Heritage Preservation
Commission and adopted bylaws; and,
WHEREAS, the bylaws aro subject to review from time to time and may be
amended by majority Grote of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the bylaws currently establish the Heritage Preservation
Commission has having five 5 members; and,
WHEREAS, the Heritage Preservation Commission currently has fire (5)
members and one alternate member; and,
WHEREAS, the Heritage Preservation Commission has received interest from
Lisa Fahey, who has experi
rence and expertise in history relevant to the role of the
Heritage Preservation Commission set forth in Section 20-96-3 of the Zoning
Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the Heritage Preservation Commission has recommended that the
bylaws be amended to expand the number of members to seven and that the current
alternate member, Jamie Plantenberg-Selbitschka, and Lisa Fahey be appointed to
terms.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Otsego
that the bylaws of the Heritage Preservation Commission are hereby amended to
establish the number of members as seven to be appointed to four year terms on the
schedule attached hereto as Exhibit and to appoint the following members to terms as
set forth below:
Jamie Plantenber-Selbits hka Seat 6 for a term expiring December 31, 2015.
2. Lisa Fahey to Seat 7 for a terra expiring December 31, 2013.
