Otsego Heritage Preservation Commission — February 12,

Present: Toni Seroshek, Gall Anderson, John loll, Chris Wilson, Tom
Constant; Mayor Jessica Stockarp. A helpful appearance by Jason
varehine.
Meeting called to order by Chair Toni. i. No changes to agenda. Minutes o
the last meeting approved.
Park signs
['here is a CLG grant being written by Dan Licht to help cover the costs of
the signs. Pictures are awaited from the John and Della Anderson
collection}
Annual Discussion
Councilman Horn Heidner suggested to Toni and Toni agreed that we
should review the past year for any significant historical happenings
which are notable and people would be interested in. Torn suggested w
review the year for happenings in January of each year; consensus on
that followed.
School/old town hall -ideas
We talked about the possibility of a charity such as CAER CAEacquiring it for
storage of goads with the stipulation that the outside be kept as is.
We are still awaiting approval of ars article for the Elk River Star News
asking for community input.
Artful ore entation of hi tory Prosect grant.
Chris reviewed the grant plan and decided that she did not have the
energy to pursue it.
Meeting was adjourned so that we could organize some of the office
ar hi al materials, empty the blue recycling boxes and set up the
furniture. ,Jessica and .Jason were most helpful in that pursuit (thanks!).
