With the rove of City Hall and the repurpose of office furniture, many unused items remain a
Prairie Center. Staff have gone through the items and identified pieces to retain future use.
Staff is recommended that the remaining pieces be declared for auction. Certain items such a
134 chairs will be kept and continued to be used for Council meetings and rentals. All 19
folding wooden tables are on the auction list and Staff is recommended they be replaced with
hard plastic folding tale . Currently the w o en tables require two people to move and set-
up. The hard plastic tables weigh far less than the wood tables and only require one person to
move and set-up. gine items that remain after the auction with be recycled.

RE SOLUTION No. 2013 -XX
RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY SURPLUS
PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE
WHEREAS, certain miscellaneous items as set forth on the attached Exhibit A owned by
the City no longer serve any useful City function; and
WHEREAS, the surplus items are varied and rm*scellaneous in nature; and
WHEREAS, City staff has determined that Public Surplus can properly dispose of these
items for valine on the inter#net or otherwise and provide fair value to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESoLVIED by the City Council of the City of Otsego,
Wright County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the miscellaneous items set forth on- Exhibit A are hereby declared surplus
City property.
2. City staff are hereby auth ri ed to proceed with the disposition of the property by
contracting with Public Surplus for sale of the items over the Internet, or
otherwise.
