August 10, 2016 Meeting Minutes
Call to Order.
Public Safety Chair Chuck Schauss called the meeting to order at 6:05pm
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: none present.
Chuck Schauss, Mark Driste, Tina Driste, Jim Breitbach, Paul Fields, Greg Hubbard, Bill
Abderhalden. Elk River Deputy Chief Aaron Surrat; Wright County Sheriff
1._____Approve agenda.
Commissioner M. Driste motioned to approve agenda as written. Seconded by
Commissioner Fields. All in favor. Motion carried.
2._____Approve meeting minutes.
2.1 July 12, 2016.
Commissioner Fields motioned to approve minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner
Hubbard. All in favor. Motion carried.
3._____Open Forum.
Wright County Sheriff discussed vandalism incidence – should resolve with school starting back
up in the next month.
4._____Public Safety Police/Fire/Ambulance Updates.
Reports provided in packets. Due to scheduled road clean up fire/police informed short meeting;
not necessary to attend.
5._____Old Business.
Discussed moving forward with CERT. September 13 meeting Commissioner Schauss will work
on getting other cities that have CERT programs to come and talk with us, provide information.
Working meeting.
Gathering and mapping response times for fire /ambulance discussed-Commissioner
Abderhalden stated he could help with retrieving the information, he can pull NFIR reports.
6._____New Business.
November meeting discussed-due to election it needs to be rescheduled, it was decided to wait
until October to decide on November meeting.
Due to lighting road clean up has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 15 @6pm

Commissioner Hubbard motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Breitbach. All
