SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 9:06 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder, Jason
Warehime and Tom Darkenwald. Staff: Lori Johnson, City Administrator; Adam Flaherty,
Finance Director; Kevin Lamson, Street Operations Manager; Ron Wagner, City Engineer; and
Tam! Loff, City Clerk. Also present: Albertville Fire Chief Eric Bullen.
1. 2017 Budget Discussion.
Finance Director Flaherty distributed an update to page 25 of the draft budget.
City Administrator Johnson reviewed the draft budgets for police service and the public safety
commission, noting that the CERT supplies have not been included in the public safety draft
budget. The City Council agreed to add $1,000 for supplies/uniforms to the emergency
management fund for the CERT supplies; Fire; Building inspection; Emergency management
and animal control draft budgets were approved as presented.
City Administrator Johnson further reviewed the draft budget for streets; the blacktop roller
rental in the amount of $4,800 may be removed if approved purchase in the CIP; engineering
budget was agreed as presented with Hakanson Anderson engineering fee increase for 2017;
Street light budget and fleet management budget were agreed to as presented.
Mayor Stockamp motioned to approve Hakanson Anderson engineering rate
increase effective January 1, 2017. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion
carried.

CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor.
Motion carried. Adjourned at 9:37 PM.
