RESOLUTION NO. 2006-10
RESOLUTION APPROVING TURNBACK OF
QUAM STREET, 62ND STREET AND 65TH STREET
AT TRUNK HIGHWAY 101
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego received notice from the Minnesota
Department of Transportation ("MinnDOT') regarding its intent to turnback to the
City certain portions of Quam Street, 62n6 Street, and 65th Street located near
Trunk Highway 101, as shown on attached Exhibit A ("roadway"); and
WHEREAS, the City believes that it is in the interest of the public to
accept turnbacks of said roadways from MNDOT; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation will prepare a release
notice regarding roadway turnback; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to approve a turnback of the roadway upon
issuance of said release notice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
OTSEGO:
1. The City approves the turnback of the roadways, as shown on Exhibit A, upon
issuance of the release notice prepared by the Commissioner of Transportation.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute the necessary
paperwork to complete the City's acceptance of said turnbacks.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 13t` day of February, 2006.
