No No BACKGROUNDMUSTIFICATION: Minnesota State Statute 20413.21, Subd. 2 require the city clerk to make the recommendation of election judges to the City Council at least 25 days before the election. BUDGET INFORMATION FUNDING: BUDGETED: ❑ YES 101-41410-104 ❑ NO RESOLUTION NO. 2016-75 APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR 2016 CITY OF OTSEGO, COUNTY OF WRIGHT WHEREAS, the General Elections are to be held on November 8, 2016, and, WHEREAS, Election Judges are required to perform the election duties for these elections, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the following persons be appointed as Election Judges and attended the necessary training provided by the City of Otsego in order to hold the position of Election Judges: Precinct 2A and 3- Precinct 1A- Andrew Karlsen Robert Schuster Keela Johnson Tricia Bjorklund BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Otsego City Council does hereby allow the City Clerk/Chief Election Official to make substitutions to the slate of judges as necessary to maintain the required minimum and fill vacancies if needed.
