ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No I No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: All of the City's position descriptions, many that hadn't been updated since 2009, have been updated to current position description format using the content approved by the employee, supervisor, and City Administrator during the classification and compensation study. These reformatted position descriptions reflect the duties, responsibilities, education, experience, and physical requirements as stated in the position descriptions and position analysis questionnaires used for that study. The physical requirements and working conditions section of the each position description was updated to utilize the same format and data used for the study. Following City Council approval of the position descriptions, the approval date will be inserted. These position descriptions will be on file with the Deputy Clerk/Human Resource Generalist and remain in place until a different version is approved by the City Council.
