Recommend accepting the City Administrator's resignation.

BACKGROUNDMUSTIFICATION:
As you know, I have accepted another position, and on Monday, September 26, 2016, 1 submitted my
resignation to Mayor Stockamp. She announced the resignation at the Council Council meeting that
evening; however, the Council did not take action to accept the resignation. Therefore, a motion is
requested to accept the resignation. My final day with the City of Otsego will be October 27, 2016.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve Otsego's residents and businesses for the last five plus years. It
has been an honor. I leave knowing that the City is on solid footing and well positioned for the future.
During the last five years, we have made great strides to make Otsego an outstanding place to work,
with talented and dedicated staff. And, we have proven that this is an excellent place to start or grow a
successful business, as many well known and respected local and national companies have chosen to do
in the past few years. I wish the City Council, staff, and the City continued success and all the best in the
future.
