ITEM 3.2B SCC 10.10.2016 MinutesITEM 3_20 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY HALL OCTOBER 10, 2016 *7:00 PM Call to Order. Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 8:17 PM. Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder and Jason Warehime. Staff: Lori Johnson, City Administrator; Adam Flaherty, Finance Director; Daniel Licht, City Planner; Ron Wagner, City Engineer; Kevin Lamson, Street Operations Manager and Tami Loff, City Clerk. Also present was Corey Tanner. 1. 2017 CIP Discussion. City Administrator Johnson stated that we will begin the 2017-2021 discussion with the City's transportation system. City Engineer Wagner presented a PowerPoint identifying potential transportation projects that are state aid eligible, street renewal projects and street maintenance projects. New roads to be considered are 85th Street from Nashua Avenue to Mason Avenue and MacIver Avenue to 80th Street to CSAH 19. There was discussion on the construction of the new District 728 E-8 School in Otsego and the districts upcoming meeting on boundaries and transportation. There was also discussion on new pedestrian bridge over I94 going in Albertville and connection to Otsego trail. The Council concurred that the 85th Street from Nashua Avenue to Mason Avenue was the highest priority and then MacIver Avenue to 80th Street to CSAH 19. There was also discussion on having this officially mapped giving property owners notice. 2. Commercial Building Inspection Update. This is a follow up item from a previous meeting; City Administrator Johnson gave an update, stating that both building inspectors working in Otsego are commercial building certified. Other: City Engineer reviewed a draft Valerius Agreement. The City Council concurred and recommended adding the agreement to the next meeting for approval. 3. Adjourn. CM Warehime motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Schroeder. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 9:39 PM.
