Adopt the attached City Council City Logo Wear Purchase Policy.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
At the last Administrative Subcommittee we discussed a policy for purchasing City logo wear for City
Councilmembers. The Subcommittee concurred as written and recommended approval. Attached is a
draft policy.

City of Otsego
City Council Logo Wear Purchase Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy shall be to provide City logo clothing for ease of recognition,
and/or identification of the City Council when representing the community individually
or as a whole.
Logo Wear
Allowed City of Otsego logo wear shall be defined as follows:
• Short and long sleeve button shirts
• Long or short sleeve sweaters
• Jackets or vests
All items must display the official City logo emblem.
City Council Logo Wear Allowance
The City will provide up to $75 per calendar year for each City Council member to be
paid out of the Council budget account #101-41100-225.
Purchasing Process
Orders will be generated and placed by the City Clerk in January of each calendar year
with an authorized vendor. The City Clerk shall keep on record the balance of each City
Council member's calendar allowance.
