Staff recommends accepting all public improvements associated with ProspectPointe Addition and
releasing the remaining financial securities.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
ProspectPointe Addition is a single family residential subdivision with public improvements including
watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and concrete curb and gutter and bituminous streets. All
public improvements have now been completed including the final lift of pavement and final utility
adjustments. An acceptable warranty period has passed and a final walk-thru with City staff was
completed September 21, 2016. All items identified at this walk-thru have been completed. The as -
built plans dated January 31, 2014 have been accepted.
Staff recommends accepting all public improvements associated with ProspectPointe Addition and
releasing the remaining financial securities.

CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR
THE PROSPECTPOINTE ADDITION.
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the final plat of ProspectPointe Addition
(the "plat"); and,
WHEREAS, the City and Developer entered into a Developers Agreement July
16, 2013 for ProspectPointe Addition and recorded with Wright County as Document
No. A1244140 regarding approval of the plat and installation of required public
improvements within the plat; and,
WHEREAS, all public improvements, including watermain, sidewalk, and grading
and erosion control have been completed; and,
WHEREAS, all public improvements were constructed in accordance with City
standards, Code and approved plans within the plat; and,
WHEREAS, an acceptable warranty period has passed; and,
WHEREAS, a final acceptance inspection of the public improvements within the
plat was conducted on September 21, 2016 with City staff and the Developer, and all
remaining items have been successfully completed; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO
MINNESOTA THAT
1. The City accepts all public improvements lying within public easements and
public right-of-way and these improvements shall be come City property.
