SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder, Tom
Darkenwald and Jason Warehime. Staff: Adam Flaherty, Interim City Administrator / Finance
Director.
1. Interview of Executive Recruiting Firm for City Administrator Position.
Al Waters & Company_
Sharon Klumpp was present from the firm and presented the firm's proposal and was
interviewed by the City Council. The interview was completed at 6:57 PM.
The Council continued discussion of the three executive recruiting firm interviews that have
been conducted. After discussion, there was consensus on which firm to select.
CM Darkenwald motioned to accept the proposal for a City Administrator Executive
Search from Brimeyer Fursman. Seconded by CM Schroeder. Motion carried 5-0.
The Council directed Interim City Administrator Flaherty to request a 24 month guarantee from
Brimeyer Fursman rather than the 18 month guarantee outlined in the proposal.
CM Darkenwald left the meeting at 7:15 PM for personal reasons.
2. Adjourn.
CM Schroeder motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Heidner. All in favor. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 7:17 PM.
