CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
Resolution adopting 2007 budget revisions for the City of Otsego
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego has adopted the 2007 General Fund expenditure
budget at the December 11, 2006 meeting,
WHEREAS, the city staff has reviewed the actual 2006 expenditures and
recommend the following budget amendments at this time.
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby
approve the following budget changes:
• The street lighting budget is increased from $70,000 to $90,000, an
increase of $20,000, and
• The animal control budget is increased from $3,500 to $5,500, and
increase of $2,000, and
• The public works insurance budget is increased from $25,000 to $35,000,
an increase of $10,000, and
• The finance department will allocate salaries of $16,000 to the
administration of the water and sewer utility department, a decrease of
$16,000, and
• The transfer for public works capital outlay is reduced from $170,000 to
$154,000, a decrease of $16,000, and
• The budget changes result in no increase to the General Fund
expenditures budget.
