CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
Resolution adopting a minimum sewer rate for those customers
without a water usage history with the City of Otsego
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego bills the users of the wastewater utility on a
monthly basis, and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sewer utility billing is recalculated annually
based on the customer's winter months (December, January and February)
water usage in accordance with the Sewer Use Ordinance 00-12, and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego has customers connected to the system during
the year that will not have yet established a winter months water usage as the
basis for calculating the monthly sewer utility rate, and
WHEREAS, the customers with a winter months water usage history currently
pay an average of $32 per month.
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby
approve a monthly sewer rate of $32 for all customers of the City that do not
have a winter months water usage history, and that such monthly rate shall
remain in effect until such time as the usage history has been established.
