RECOMMENDATION:
MENDATION:
Recommend hiring Kurt Neidermeier as Lead Utilities System Operator at a starting pay of $67,000 per
year with credit for seven years of service for leave accrual and all other terns and benefits consistent
with theCity's personnel policy manual. The starting date will be May 29 with unpaid leave from June
to ,dune 7 for a previously scheduled vacation.

The City Council Inas determined it is in the City's best interest to employ staff, including a Lead Utilities
System Operator, to manage and operate the grater and wastewater systems. A lead utilities system
operator position has been created and the Council directed that tposition be filled. Following
meeting with applicant Kulrt Nelde rmeier, Councilmembor Vern Heidn r and I recommend hiring Mr.
Neidorr. ler.
