SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER
FEBRUARY 14, 2017

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Corey Tanner, Tom
Darkenwald and Jason Warehime. Staff: Tami Loff, City Clerk.
1. Interviews of Advisory Commission Applicants.
The Council interviewed the following applicants:
A] Ms. Deborah Schreiner for the Public Safety Commission.
B] Ms. Holly Schmidt for Planning Commission.
CM Heidner motioned to appoint the following; Richard Nichols and Pam Black to
the Planning Commission term to expire 2021; Kitty Baltos to the Park & Recreation
Commission term to expire 2019; Angie Dehn and Doug Cassady to the Park &
Recreation Commission term to expire 2021; Gail Anderson and Toni Seroshek to
the Heritage Preservation Commission term to expire 2021; and Jim Breitbach and
Bill Abderhalden to the Public Safety Commission term to expire 2021; and Deborah
Schreiner to the Public Safety Commission as an alternate term to expire 2021.
Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion carried.
CM Warehime left at 6:34 PM to attend the Public Safety Commission Meeting.
There was discussion on Planning Commission applicant Travis Rittenbach who stated he would
be interested in other Commissions. The Council concurred to offer him the alternate position
on the Parks & Recreation Commission.
Mayor Stockamp motioned to appoint Travis Rittenbach to the Parks & Recreation
as an alternate term to expire 2020. Seconded by CM Heidner. Motion carried 4-0.
2. Adjourn.
CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Heidner. Motion carried 4-0.
