RESOLUTION NO. 2007-58
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ORDINANCE # 2007-13, WATER, SANITARY
SEWER and STORMWATER USE AND BILLING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego has recently reviewed its regulations pertaining to
sewer, water and stormwater utilities ("Municipal Utilities"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego desires to update its code provisions in order to
more effectively regulate the use of and billing procedures for its municipal utilities;
and
WHEREAS, currently Chapter 6, Section 2 and 3 of the Otsego City Code
inadequately provides for policies and procedures related to, among other things,
billing notices, delinquent billing procedures, special assessment of delinquent
accounts and water meters, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide consistency through out its regulations
pertaining to Municipal Utilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Otsego, Wright County,
Minnesota, hereby orders the adoption and publication of the attached Ordinance # 2007-13.
Motion for adoption of resolution by CM Heidner , seconded by
CM Darkenwald at the meeting of the Otsego City Council on the 24th day of
September, 2007.
