BACKGROUNDMUSTIFICATION:
Funds were allocated in the 2017 Prairie Center budget for the purchase of 60 banquet chairs.
These chairs would be used to replace the ones currently being used for City Council,
Commission meetings, building rentals and occasional programs and events. Staff purchased
the new banquet chairs in February of 2017, and has also identified 60 older banquet chairs
with tears and rips to be considered as surplus property.
