R E S O L U T I O N N 0_ 92-20
WHEREAS, The City of Otsego has contracted with other
jurisdictions to provide Fire Service to the properties
located in the City of Otsego, and
WHEREAS, The residents of the City of Otsego pay Special
Assessments for Fire Service, and
WHEREAS, Said assessments are levied by tax parcels, and
WHEREAS, It has been called to the attention of the City
Council that certain taxable parcels have not been included
in the fire assessment, and
WHEREAS, These omitted parcels already receive fire
protection, and
WHEREAS, The omitted parcels are located in Darkenwald's
Riverbend Mobile Home Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the
City of Otsego hereby requests that the 198 occupied mobile
home park lots in the Darkenwald's Riverbend Mobile Home
Park, be assessed at the current rate of the Elk River Fire
Service amount of ($37.00) each, payable for the year 1992
and an amount to be set by the City Council for each year
thereafter.
